Ethiopia Book Drive and Library

We are currently raising funds and books to establish a library in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in collaboration with Ethiopia Reads. Check back for more updates!

Chibolya, Zambia,

268 story books, 16 educational tapes, 4 card games and 88 t-shirts were collected and shipped to Chibolya, Zambia, in collaboration with the Glassco Foundation. They were received and distributed on July 29, 2009 by the Chibolya Education and Health Organisation.


Rural School Book Distribution - Mombassa area, Kenya, 2008 - on hold

Each year we collect books for 10 schools in the Mombassa area. All schools are public and have a high rate of orphans. The following schools have received books from ABP.

School Book Distribution - Zanzibar

2007 marked the first year Africa Book Project delivered books outside of Kenya. 1 container of books was sent to the island of Zanzibar, off the coast of Tanzania. The books are to be distributed to public schools across the island with the assistance of the Ministry of Education for the Republic of Zanzibar.
